"The ad is a sequence that begins with an asymmetric grid that abstractly represents a community's collection of backyards. The animation shows one rectangle or “backyard” at a time turning green and merging with surrounding rectangles until they are all one. This animation is symbolic of how ioby creates the movement of uniting a neighborhood. The idea of expanding one's backyard is meant to inspire the viewer and cause a response to the call to action which is to start their own community project."
