Bottom Line

Bottom Line's mission is to help first-generation students from low-income backgrounds get into college, graduate, and go far in life. Our vision is to dramatically transform urban communities by producing thousands of new career-ready college graduates. Since 1997, Bottom Line has addressed the low college graduation rates of first-generation students from low-income backgrounds. Our organization was founded on the belief that students need a mentor and a guide during the college application process and throughout college to succeed. By providing consistent one-on-one support, Bottom Line has helped thousands of first-generation students from low-income backgrounds stay in college and complete their degrees. Bottom Line is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is nearly 100% privately funded. We currently serve over 8,000 students through our two primary programs - College Access and College Success. Bottom Line services are available from regional offices located in Boston, Chicago, and New York City.
